Hi Everyone,
I am trying to gauge how other people in this profession are doing financially in the NJ / PA / DE area. I've done hours of research so far and it's hard to really extract a concise truth about income from MT from other websites. For example, people in Michigan have very unsavry things to say about making a living from doing it and then other professionals in San Fransisco are saying their practice is booming. Hi Alexis,
My business is all outcalls so I don't have an office where I see clients at all. Its more work for me but I really love it. I have some great and loyal clients! I have recently expanded my business in the winter up in to the Philly area where most of my clients are from which has been great. Having business consistently throughout the year is a nice change for me.
Check my website for more info on my business if you want...

Hi Alexis,
I am in the process of job hunting. I just finished with my studies here in NJ. I am trying to figure out my next move. I am applying for what ever job in a spa I find. Wish me luck. I am curious to find out if have been working for a while or are you new to field?
TTYL,
Viktoria
Hi Alexis,
I just started spending more time in the Philly area myself and I'm always looking for therapists with which to network with. I don't know anything about the massage school you mentioned. And I didn't go to school around here, I went out to Utah for school (UCMT). I wasn't too impressed with any of the schools I looked at around here and I really liked the program they had out there (great courses, incredible teachers, a partnership with the U of Utah where we went for our Anatomy labs, and a beautiful setting. Look at as many different schools as you can as your education will play a large part in how sucessful you are as a therapist.
Let me know if I can help at all...
Sincerely,
Nik
