Well Theresa to describe what I do is not as easy as one would expect. Early in my career, I discovered that Traditional Deep Tissue Massage was really painful for me and for my clients. I decided that if I wanted to continue do massage that I had to find another way that was easier on both of us but still resulted in a positive outcome. I started to utilize more Swedish and Vibrational touch and found that it was pain free for me and the vibrational touch went to the bone which provided my clients with painless deep tissue outcomes. I began to apply it to the music that I had playing in the background during a massage and the first client I did this with burst into tears and experienced a huge emotional release. A bit scary but my background in counseling stepped up to the plate and the outcome was a good one. In 1980, I began a serious level of effort to research the effects of emotion on the body. This brought to light that it was quite likely that all physical stress, good or bad, is initiated by or connected to an emotional trigger of some sort. In the end, I invented the Acoustical Touch System for massage furnishings which transmits the musical vibrations through the table, then I was encouraged to develop and teach the technique of Vibrational Attunement Massage to other therapist. I now have 2 offices with a good opportunity to open another one the first of the year. Life is Good and the massages are what keeps my 66 year old body vibrationally happy and healthy.
