Hi Robbie, Thanks for asking. I would like to direct you to my website where you can find a 24 CE +3 Ethics Ce Home Study Course. It can be purchased with or without my insurance seminar on DVD.

I am sorry that I do not have an online insurance billing course yet. I have a marketing & promotion, IRS & Taxes and a Practice Building online course ready to go, but the insurance course is so in depth and so much is needed within the accompaning manual to be used daily by therapists who purchase it or take the course.

Here is my website and on the home page, just scoll down for choices. Thanks so much for asking and I hope this can help you Robbie. Massage Insurance Billing

One more thing Robbie. I read a question from you just now where you ask about Medicare and Blue Cross. Unfortunately Blue Cross, being the administrator for self insured employer plans and secondary coverage or supplemental Medicare and sometimes the Contractor for Medicare in some states, does not directly reimburse a massage theapist.

The same thing goes for Medicare which effective in July, 2005 quit even paying an LMT when services were billed by a physician. I am keeping a close eye on possible changes regarding this in the future. It is in the "wind" to be changed so that only state licensed or certified health care providers can provide "incident to" physician services. As it stands now, only PT's, OT's and SLP's can. This was a terrible ruling leaving all over 65 and some disabled persons unable to get covered /reimbursed massage therapy services.

Wish I had better news for you. But in time!!! In the meantime the usual liability type cases like auto, workers' compensation and some other possibilities such as the "underserved" in some states, and I think NM is one of those states.

Stay tuned ok?

Hello Robbie, Not sure if anyone answered your question about does anyone bill insurance in NM. The answer is yes. In fact I presented in Albueruque NM a few years ago for the AMTA National Convention. I have sold a few manuals and home study courses to those in different regions of NM. I don't file by state only by last and first name so don't have the capability (yet) to just pull up a name for you but will keep an eye out in the future for you.

My brother lived in Clovis for years so was more connected with NM LMTs than some states.
Let me know if I can answer any questions for you ok?

Robbie I apologize for not seeing your name to address you properly when I wrote back about insurance billing a couple of days ago. Thanks for the questions and I am always here to help.
