The Massage Therapy Project

The World Massage Festival announces “The Massage Therapy Project”, born on the 4th of July, 2010. It will be a project to preserve Massage History.

This is an effort to compile a massage reference library and repository for massage-related literature, artifacts and history. Therapists, authors and instructors may submit their materials and become a part of Massage History.

Many items from private collections will be housed in the repository for present day therapists and future generations to view and learn from, as well as items from independent sources, the World Massage Festival and Massage Therapy Hall of Fame.

The WMF is reviewing several different locations across the country, as a possible home for the Project. Do you have a suggestion for the location of the repository?
