I'm a MT student with light blue sheets for in and out of class work. I'm using a variety of products, i.e. Hoba Oil, Biotone Gel & Face Cream, Peppermint Pandango, and etc. and after ten weeks of too much oil being used and eventually dripped on them I can't seem to get the oil stains out. Thankfully they don't smell rancid but they look dirty. I've tried pretreating with a myriad of detergents and shout, bleach, and extended washes but I still have these lovely stains. Can someone please help!
In the interm I've purchased a white fitted and a black top sheet for in-class work. They seem to hide the stains better than the calming light blue ones.
www.youngliving.com has the best product for stains. It is called Theives Household Cleaner. One capful in the wash water and you will be amazed as to how clean and stain free everything comes out.
Good remedies. I find the best thing is to use an oil that does not stain or leave an odour. For 25 years I have used pure cocnut oil in solid form. It does not drip and leave stains on the sheets. I use white sheets and they come out perfectly clean and smell nice. Find a lotion or oil that does not stain
Hi Pamela!
First, stay away from pastel colored (especially blue) sheets.
Always wash them immediately after use with HOT water.
I also agree with all the comments the colleagues have mentioned previously!
