My New Year's resolution is not to make any New Year's resolutions :)
This is the best kind of Resolutions Laura. That way we do not set ourselves up for failure.
Bah to all the normal resolutions... lose weight, stop smoking, etc. Given my love for quilting and the fact that I have a project linus coordinator as a massage client, I have resolved to make one quilt a month to donate to project linus.

If you want to learn more about what project linus is, here is a link to answer your questions:

To EXPAND! I have grown by leaps and bounds this last year with my practice. Looking forward to keeping it going and moving up from there! I am officially in private practice only. WOO-HOO! Working as an IC was a great experience that lasted for 7 years. My private practice took over and needed all my attention! Peace, Good Health, Happiness, and Prosperity to everyone for 2010.
I hope that I can not only become a better therapist, but also be able to help anyone on this site that may need it. By becoming a better therapist, I mean to perfect new modialities like our heros in the past that have either gone on to massage heaven or still here among us. Happy New Year ! Peace Travis
Thank- You Marissa may you recieve all that you seek, Peace Travis

Shouldn't we be resolving to better ourselves all year long? Why do most people need an arbitrary date to improve themselves? I have never understood this.
because sometimes after a year worth of living, one needs a little push of motivation to keep going. ::)

mine this year is to simply survive my daughter's teenage years with humor, compassion, empathy and strength.

Hmm? Seems I make plans as I go.

What I usually do on New Year's Eve is make an account of all the things I have been
grateful for in the year passing! Seems to work for me! It's a great reminder of
all the gifts I have and all the potential out there.
Gloria's grateful accounting idea is a good one.

Mine is same as last year; maintain balance. Work a bit, play a bit, and live life fully.
