~ A little about me ~

My name is Susan Hart and I live in suburban Philadelphia, PA, not far from Valley Forge.

Prior to becoming a massage therapist, I worked with children first as a preschool teacher, then as a nanny for six years. When the child I cared for began school full time I went to massage school and have been an ABMP certified massage therapist since 1998. In 1999 I began working with a chiropractor, Dr Trish Coughlin-Baitinger of Radiance Chiropractic Healing Center; who helped me to identify what I unconsciously did during sessions with clients--intuitive energy work.

Discovering that massage therapy alone is inadequate to comprehensively address the causative factors leading to the conditions which brought clients to see me, I began to study alternative holistic approaches to meet the needs of clients on more than just the physical level. I have studied and include the following modalities in my bodywork practice:

~ Scientific Swedish Massage
~ Cranio-Sacral Therapy (Upledger)
~ Neuro-muscular Therapy (St. John Method)
~ Reiki (Tera Mai Master/Teacher and Usui level II)
~ Seichem (Master/Teacher)
~ Frequency Balancing
~ Distance Healing
~ Sound/Vibrational Healing
~ Work with Crystals
~ Brain Therapy (Barry Gillespie)
~ Active Isolated Stretching (Mattes Method)
~ Chakra Balancing
~ Oncology Massage
~ Aromatherapy
~ Myofascial Release

My healing sessions are nurturing and unique, combining intuitive guidance, energy work and advanced massage therapy techniques.

In addition to bodywork, I also teach Tera Mai(TM) Reiki and Seichem classes. My background in early childhood education is an advantage; since I have an understanding of how different people learn, I'm able to hold classes and teach to a variety of learning styles in a way in which everyone has some fun while learning.

In 2007 I began creating a line of essence sprays designed to help shift energy. Think of burning sage without the smoke and lingering smell that some clients find offensive. I call them Susan's Serenity Sprays and now have 7 different ones. If you'd like to learn more, please visit my website at
