Changing with Times

I like the idea of spa parties. They are a fun atmosphere & it is great way to share the massage experience. I never thought to take product in a ziplock bag. Great idea! Interesting blog:

Update - Massage Conventions Comparison Chart - Who Is The Best For The Dollar - AMC, AMTA, FSMTA or WMF?

Many therapists have asked for a chart comparison to show the cost for CEUs and all details for the major conventions. We know it is the first year for AMC, but with major sponsor support, they should be included.

Here ya go....

NCBTMB Revokes/Suspends Diploma Mills

For over a year now, the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork has been working quietly behind the scenes to eradicate massage schools—or rather, diploma mills—that have been been revoked, and one school voluntarily withdrew their code after being notified that they were suspended.

To clarify the meaning of these actions, a school must have an assigned code in order for their students to sit for an examination offered by the NCBTMB. 39 states currently… Continue

Protecting female therapists from males seeking sexual services.

Its already been the subject of many discussions on here, but are there any websites specifically set up to educate new female therapists on exactley how to word their web pages to minimise this occuring.

Here in the UK we've still got therapists web pages listing home phone numbers, full home addresses, and useing wording begging the double entendre.

Please tell me someone has a great site to which I can refere these innocents.

Thanks…

CAMTC is urging all supportive parties to write a letter to be sent to state senators as soon as possible urging them to kill AB-1822…

Most of us has been taught that drinking extra water after bodywork helps to flush the toxins/prevent muscle… Continue
