I'm beginning to assess posture using photographs. I want to ensure I have the most accurate representation of my clients' postural changes... any suggestions on how to do this? Does anyone incorporate this method regularly in practice? My idea is to print out all of the pictures and lay transparent graph paper over the photos... What do yall think?

Did you know that massage can play a significant role in alleviating the symptoms brought on by arthritis? According to the Arthritis Foundation, arthritis costs the U.S. as much as $128 billion annually! One of my fondest dreams is coming true! For several years I’ve been preaching the sermon on my blog that I wanted our national massage organizations to play nice together and it is happening! Earlier today I got the news that all seven of our major organizations will come together for a summit meeting in St. Louis on Sept 13-14. St. Louis is centrally located, and it’s neutral ground. We use the terms: ‘the sixth sense’, ‘the inner voice’, ‘the mother’s instinct’, ‘the gut feeling’ to describe intuition. Intuition is knowing something without evident knowledge.
How does one tap in to ‘the inner voice’ or ‘the gut feeling’ without using the five physical senses of sight, smell, sound, taste, or touch? Better yet, what if you try to tap into your intuition and you don’t sense anything at all, or you get bogus or dead wrong information?
There are two…

One topic which keeps repeating itself, whether I am treating or teaching, is what is the “right” amount of pressure? Myofascial Release is performed with great variations in pressure and depth, with the therapist making in-the-moment decisions as to the correct pressure at any time. Some schools of Myofascial Release…
