"Weighty Issues"

During discussions here, I've met a lot of people who seem to have added a few pounds here and there. Of course, this is an epidemic. We all, at one time or another, have some extra weight that suddenly appears out of nowhere! That darn dryer is shrinking clothes again! One too many glasses of wine or a pint over the limit. Extra slice of Chicago style pizza anyone? GUILTY! I lost 80 pounds through sheer will and determination. I love to cook, I love to eat, I love food and family dinners, BBQs... you get the picture. I want this group to talk about it. Share your frustrations, gain ideas from others (not lbs), get healthy recipes, new ideas for work outs, anything that is a "Weighty Issue" for you. Please help me. I continuously need the motivation and inspiration to stay healthy. I know there are others out there too.

To all of you new members who have joined, thank you. Each day is a challenge for most of us and having this amazing support group is sure to inspire you. As well as give you a few laughs and realize that you are not alone! :)

I, personally, can't wait to jump back in to the swing of things. End of September, first of October is when I get to start cracking again. Also, we found out Monday that we will be having a boy. Very excited!

Thanks Marissa. I am allowed to the gym at this point 2 days a week and can to 10 reps on each leg machine. No upper body machines yet at this point. I am greatly encouraged. The Doctor did allow me on the Tread mill at his office today. I have no problem walking , walking, walking. it felt really good today. Start back to work doing 2 massages a day on Tuesday for at least next week and then will see. All is well. I have been through this before. This is my 3rd time to be rear ended in the last 2 1/2 years.

Weighed and measured today at Curves. Lost 3 1/2 pounds last month and 4 inches. WOO HOO. Now Friday I was rear ended by a hit and run. Back to the Chiro today. Off work for at least a week and will see after that. No gym either. I guess I will walk the football field.

I have been on it for about 4 months now. It doesn't seem to be getting any easier unfortunately. But it is a good way to get back on track which I have to do now!

congratulations ladies hope everyone is enjoying the pretty weather I have been walking and riding my bike a lot can not wait to get started on the garden part Happy Easter Hop Hop Hop Hop please don't eat to much lol
