"Weighty Issues"

During discussions here, I've met a lot of people who seem to have added a few pounds here and there. Of course, this is an epidemic. We all, at one time or another, have some extra weight that suddenly appears out of nowhere! That darn dryer is shrinking clothes again! One too many glasses of wine or a pint over the limit. Extra slice of Chicago style pizza anyone? GUILTY! I lost 80 pounds through sheer will and determination. I love to cook, I love to eat, I love food and family dinners, BBQs... you get the picture. I want this group to talk about it. Share your frustrations, gain ideas from others (not lbs), get healthy recipes, new ideas for work outs, anything that is a "Weighty Issue" for you. Please help me. I continuously need the motivation and inspiration to stay healthy. I know there are others out there too.

I just discovered a great new website where you can keep track of your food and exercise and even your water consumption and best of all, it is FREE!! It is called Sparkpeople.com. You can sign up for free and enter your weight and measurements, and it give you a target date for the weight loss, menus, exercise plans etc. Of course the guy who runs it does have a book to sell but you don't have to buy it! And there are blogs and groups you can join. It is pretty cool.

I bought Clover Honey at the local grocery store. I have seen it at the commissary. Walmart probably sells it

OK Darcy I am going to try the honey detox too, just started today. I hope I have as good results as you did. I am going to detox first abd then start my new eating plan come the new year. Which of course will include raw honey!

Where did you get Clover honey? I got the raw organic honey at Whole Foods but did not see any clover honey unless is that the one still in the honeycomb?

Darcy,

Did you use a special kind of honey for the detox?

I just completed a 3 day Honey Detox and was very pleased. I discovered Honey is very gentle on the bowels. Much more so than other detoxes I have tried. I lost 10 pounds in the 3 days.
